With support of the Sole Shareholder TenizBurgylau LLP started the realization of JUDR project and further developing of the JUDR to provide services for the construction of oil and gas wells in the Kazakhstan sector of the Caspian Sea.
Developing project documentation, in agreement with the authorized bodies of the RoK and with the involved classification societies: American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS). The drilling rig will be able to provide services for construction of oil and gas wells with a drilling depth of up to 6000 m and with a water depth from 5 to 80 m.
JUDR construction started in July, 2012. Completion is planned early in 2015.
Construction of the JUDR will be undertaken at the shipyards of the Mangystau region with the full participation of Kazakhstan resources. During the period of JUDR construction it is planned to create 800-1100 employment places, both direct and indirect, through subcontracts in the Mangystau region of Kazakhstan.
The JUDR construction, as well as the creation of the first Kazakhstan offshore drilling company, will create the domestic sphere of offshore drilling services, and thus comply with the policy of the Sole Shareholder for development of infrastructure to support oil and gas operations.
